Sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell represent the channels through which people communicate on various emotional levels. Architecture, design, lighting, colors, and furnishings are always looking for new proposals in order to create positive impacts on our senses. Hearing (almost always neglected) is one of the 5 most important senses. This is where our work stands: presumptuously we call ourselves the "Architects of Sound," and our research proposes new technologically advanced solutions, without neglecting aesthetics in order to achieve true Acoustic Comfort, to offer a complete state of well-being, physical, evocative and emotional .

HEARING.

Noise pollution creates annoyance, discomfort and is a real sensory disturbance. In an environment that is not acoustically treated, voices, sounds, and music, in most cases are annoying beyond the concept of Acoustic Comfort. We have all experienced a noisy restaurant or a ceremony in a reverberant Church, or a conference room where voices sounds were dispersed. In such situations, even if we paid more attention, the meaning of the speech was not grasped. In such cases careful Planning, can be decisive. Every room has its own specific "acoustic personality" given by the volumes, surfaces, and materials; careful Acoustical Design through elaborate calculations, supported by technique and experience, can avoid annoying consequences and obtain reliable predictions by improving the sound ambientale.
